I like option 2. The bumper is a very good strurdy spot for them. Had two mounted there on my rig once. Wanna buy a chrome grill guard and have six lights. I am selling mine with two lights for $75 or $60 w/o the lights.

Having them all clustered together looks nicer. Will you be blocking a significant amount of air from the radiator with that arrangement? I've only got two on mine mostly becasue my bumper only has two light tabs but for me that's plenty and the lights are situated far enough away from the radiator to keep air flow.

I would also think, this can be dangerous , that the spread out pattern will produce a better spread of light. However the bunched up lights could produce the sdame light if the two outise lights were turned slightly out.

the outside ones will be turned slightly out and the middle one will be straight with a sligt angle up... basically im going to fill everywhere the stock beams cant.....

i have thought about the lack of airflow to the radiator, my grill has been removed

I like the second set up.

I've been thinking of filling the black hole left by my stock head lights, but I think most of my problem is they're aimed wrong I need to find a level spot with a wall to follow Daniel Sturns adjustment guildlines

i figured out how to wire it... keep in mind that if i go with the second setup that i will need to remove my grill completely and the headlight surrounds will go with it as its all one piece, the 3 lights will be blocking about 95% of my available airflow to the radiator

another thought just popped up... what size drillbit will i need to mount them? they are standard hella 500 sized bolts

I don't know what type of lights you are getting, but I think you should get some kind of cornering light on either side and a pencil beam in the middle. A lot of 'Rover guys use this combo and it works really well. Oh yeah, and I like option #2.

I would just go for 2...I've got 2 fogs on my bumper and 2 driving lights on the rack and that is PLENTY of light. If you need more than that...have at it but this is plenty for me!

well just to refresh, it is set up like the first picture..... i will post pics when i get it all dialed in..... the ligths are there and running, but they arent in exactly the spot i want yet... they are close... the middle one goes out and up, with the ouside ones pointed towards the side of the car they are mounted on.... with my highbeams and the 3 spots on, all you see is 2 little blue dots of the highbeams, otehr than that, they completely render the regular highbeams almost useless

Hey Darx,
I like that bumper you got man, it's evil looking, is that custom made? If I want one made for my 'o2, how much would it cost?
