Talking lifts

I recently purchased my runner and this is also my first 4x4. I wanna put a lift on it and need recommendations from the experts out ther as to go about it. I don't want nothing to huge but wanna beef it out a bit cause "factory sucks". Any information would be appreciated. :bigok
