Lifting, should I document?

So its looks like the weather will be decent this weekend and I fianally have everything together, so I will be installing my suspension lift saturday My question is, should I take a load of pics for a writeup, or is there already more than enough info on what I'm doing?

What I'm doing is.....
Installing new leaf packs and shocks in the rear (I have new hardware as well) and tundra coilovers w/spacers in the front. Pretty basic stuff I imagine, but I thought I'd ask.

I'll take before and after pics no matter what.

Don't think anyone's written up anything on the Tundra coils lift?
At least not on here.

It's good info to have - you should go for it. At the very least so you can post up pictures in case anyone in the future has any questions.

I posted before and after PICTURES , didn't do a write-up per se, tho I suppose I still could.

It ended up being pretty straight forward, sort of. Basically, everything went as the old haynes implied, except EVERYTHING in the rear was seized. Lots of cutting. If you've put SAWS on, then you could do the front no problem, and my rear suspension is different (leaves not coils) so.....any questions, let me know.

I really don't feel like enough of an authority to do a writeup, but maybe I shouldn't let that stop me.

yeah i've done the saws, but didn't have to remove the four lower balljoint bolts. I didn't have to use the factory bottle jack against the upper a arm either. Did you have to use that on the install? Guess thats the only thing I'll have to do different this time.

I had to do both of those things.....I guess its because you install the SAWs with no lift/load on the spring, so its not any longer than stock. Once its installed then it gets cranked, whereas the longer coils are just that, longer, from the get go. I think in the end I also found it useful to put my shop jack under the lower arm to get everyting to line up (I always put a chunk of 2x6 in between the jack and the arm, just cause I was paranoide about damaging the arm).

The one truely dumb thing I did was when assembling the coils and topout spacers, I, in an airhead move, re-assembled the strut with the top plate from the tundra (I had takeoffs as opposed to just buying coils) rather than the plates from my truck. Then I couldn't figure out why it didn't want to fit. Duh. Biggest pain was having to go get the spring compressors to re-do it. Not an issue if you just bought the coils, but I thought I'd toss it out there (No need for anyone else to look stupid).

Good luck.
