lift stinks and want cross over steering!
I have an 84 yota with a NWOR 6" lift that is super stiff. I'm running 35" super swampers with no body lift. I don't get the articulation I want when I go rock crawling. I would like to get some recomendations for super flexy suspension that would work with my swampers. I'm ready to do some major wheel well cutting to be able to keep the swampers. The only thing is I haven't seen any rock crawling yotas with great articluation that are running 35" tires. Any suggestions would be a big help!
I have also heard of people throwing either an IFS or 2wd yota steering box into there 4x4 for cross over steering. I think that I could rig the arm needed to attach to the passenger side wheel steering bracket. Yet, I don't know where to get the new steering bracket that mounts to the axle on the passenger side. The stock passenger side steering bracket ball is infront of the axle (easily prone to damage when crawling over boulders). I'm looking for the steering bracket that puts the steering bracket ball joint for my "rigged arm" behind the axle.
