i just bought a 1985 toyota pickup. right there is a lock right locker in the rear and a 2" shackle lift. i have 31 inch at's on there but would like to get 33" mt's. i have a downey header on a 94 22re engine. there is also an optima battery.
my question is i am looking for a 5 or 6 inch lift. what would be the best brand. also what shocks would go good with this lift. i want to fit 33 inch tires, ill upgrade to 488 when i do. i plan on doing some rockcrawling and general trail riding on the weekends. i would like something that can get pretty good articulation. i heard skyjacker softride and all pro lifts were good. any help is appreciated.

All-Pro makes a nice set of 5" springs. With the shackles, a 3" kit is plenty for 33"s, you could possibly fit them on as it is. FWIW, I mounted 33's a my stock, unlifted '85 4Runner. They fit, I just couldn't turn
