There aren't codes dealing specifically with the suspension components; rather, you'll have to base your mods on the reflectors. They can't be more than 60 inches above the ground.
I think I have a ways to go before I get my reflectors 5 FEET off the ground!

Can't go more than 6" either way here in SC. Too bad you will never catch a police officer pulling anyone over for that here, so i'm not sure why they wasted paper to even make that law
