Leather Seats - Question
I was wondering if anyone had any solutions: I have a 2004 4Runner Limited, and I notice that when folding the rear seats for the extra cargo space in the rear, the seat cushion bottom is exposed to the cargo. That is that depending upon what you throw in there you have to be careful that it doesn't shift or slide into the cushion and tear it. Has anyone come up with any little tidbits for protecting the cushion. (it would be the seat that is lifted up and is flush against the backs of the front seats). thanks in advance - great forum and tons and tons of expertise here.

I have the 03 LTD with the same color combo as you. I'm not sure what you are refering to, but the underside of the rear seats on mine has material and not leather. It is just the leather edges that is a little exposed. I have moved house and hauled lots of stuff in the back of mine and the only damage was to the silly roof lining with little streak marks on the material (can harly notice) and some small scratches on the seat back plastic where the cargo net hooks are. You can barely notice any of it, and never even a scratch to the seats.
So I would say dont even worry about it.
