Leaking CV axle, Diff side

96' Tacoma 3.4L
I noticed about 4 days ago that my passenger side Cv axle started leaking. I replaced CV's at the beginning of August. I haven't had it in 4wheel drive for about 2 weeks, although I went from 31x10.50 to 33x12.50 tires about 3 weeks ago.

The CV is leaking where it connect to the diff.

Sounds like a bad axle oil seal.

I pulled it and looked over everything. It all looks good.
Wouldn't a seal be bad from the start and not a month down the line?

Possibly the oil seal was damaged when the CV was re-inserted? I believe the FSM warns about not allowing the weight of the CV axle to rest at an angle on the seal when installing....guessing the weight may force the seal slightly out-of-round.

I'm not on 33s so have no insight on what that change may affect.

I'll give everything another good looking over and reassemble it in the morning. If it's still leaking ill drop it off at my mechanics.
Thanks for the insight!
