LC wheels back from the powdercoater...pics
The wheels came out better than I ever expected. The color is black chrome with a coat of clear. I am extremely anxious to get these on the truck, but i'm still saving for a lift and some 285's. Here's a couple pics of one of the wheels, let me know what you think.

Those look great!
I was wondering, what are you going to do for your center caps to match? I am getting my tundra wheels pc'd a teflon style black. I was thinking about a matte black finish for the centers...

nice looking wheels
the junkyard /salvage yard here just changed their policy and will not sell alloy wheels due to some crap about liability and someone could sue them if they sold a cracked one.
made me mad as hell they had this huge pile of rims just calling me to rummage through and I could not =(

Not a good powder coater....a powder coater that has money to spend because thats a process that requires some good machinery!

I think i'm going to use the same duplicolor graphite paint i used for my satoshi grille. It will be close enough. If not, i may just send them to my buddy who works at a body shop, he'll spray them for a six pack.

So I'm wondering, how much does that cost?Assuming your a normal person that has to pay full price? I had a guy give me a quote for Chrome Plating some stock wheels and it was $600 bucks. Just wondering, that looks sweet. Very good job!

I was a first time customer, so i got no special treatment (ie. savings/deals) and it wasn't that bad. He did it for 65$ a wheel, and thats two coats of powder. He'll definately be getting some more business from me in the future when i get some sliders and skid plates. Callmej75, do you think what i paid is reasonable?
