LC springs: 80 vs. 100 series

When doing the LC spring swap into a 4Runner, does anybody know what the differences are between the 80 series and 100 series springs? A friend has 100 series he'd give me, but I haven't seen any info on whether these would even begin to work.

Thanks,

Jeff
