Keyless remote won't work

Hi, I locked the 4Runner with the keyless remote. However, tonight when I try to unlock the truck, the remote does nothing. I figure might be the battery, after replacing the battery, still does nothing. I am sure I can enter the truck with the key, but the horn will go off for sure. What to do?

After searching, some suggestion was unplug the battery, unbolt the seat and unplug the system? All while the horn goes berserk? I am not even sure if I have a system under the seat or not. I remember reading not all 4runner comes with alarm, some just have keyless entry.

BTW, I have the 3 button FCC: HYQ1512Y remote. Have a LED of some sort with "Toyota Security" text to the left of the steering wheel.

Your remote might have a dead battery.

Use your key to open. Insert into the ignition. Turn on then off then on and it will turn off your alarm. Then you can troubleshoot without waking the whole neighborhood!! Hope that helps.
