Ok, so when i start my 4Runner the key comes out of the ignition...i thought maybe it was just a worn out key, so i got a new one made...it didnt help. It still falls out. Is this happening to anyone else. Also my power mirrors do not work, so i need to fix thoes as well(shouldnt be to hard). The rear window motors seem really slow too, i was wondering if this is always this way or if i should look in to new motors. sorry, im not trying to bother anyone...i just am new to the 4Runner and i am lookin for some advice on these issues...thanks

Does it stay cranked? Your ignition switch tumblers are just worn out more than likely. See if you can crank your rig with just a screw driver. If you can, time for a new ignition switch or your rig is an easy steal.

yeah the key cylinder is shot,
the power issues sound like a possible dying alternator but I think they usually die quickly.
some electrical experts will reply soon...not to worry.

might be the alternator, but you might also try pulling off the door panel and using some lithium grease to grease up the tracks, especially if the window rattles a little bit. and don't be afraid to use the search button. there is TONS and TONS of info about almost anything on here, thats why its constantly flashing.
