Just Pondering
Why did Toyota make the cluster without battery voltage or oil pressure and temp indicators? Just something I was pondering today. As well as what does SR5 actually stand for?

I have heard that SR5 stands for Sport Rally 5-speed originally for their options package on first gen trucks when a 5-speed tranny was pretty special. As time went on they stuck with the name even for automatics.
I believe they have temp indicators but as for the other two I just hope a light comes on if there is a problem.

Didnt some JDM trucks have volt and oil pressure guages? For some reason I remember that...but it could have been another car.
Yep, SR5 is Sport Ralley 5 speed. First car I ever drove was an 82 toyota SR5 2wd, I remember my dad telling me that about it.
