I keep thinking it's me, but for some reason my rims never like my tires well except for the SSR's. I just can't find a happy median for my Nitto's and my 16X7 Painted 5 Star limited wheels. Yes they have been road forced balanced but the speed at which the vibration occurs varies. Typically 65-72 then again at 80-90. I thought perhaps the wheel spacers weren't centered but the seem pretty centered given my measurements with a caliper tool. Any ideas or anyone else have a balance issue.

I've heard that these don't actually work. I tried the bead balance with airsoft pellets and that was a waste of time. Where would these mount with my wheel spacers in there?

these definitely do work. airsoft pellets ? what the crap is that ?

you need fat ball bearings in ooze for these to work. it has to make enough force to pull the wheel in balance each rev.

Big balls do you use these and in what tire combo. Seems like a reasonable price for a smooth ride.

I think it's the wheel spacer throwing it off ever so slightly. So now I nee new wheels with the proper backspacing. Looks like I have to sell 2 sets of wheels.

Well the off balance issue is not in my head. After pricing Mickey Thompson wheels with 3.5" BS I was determined once again to make absolutely certain it was the wheels. I removed the wheel spacers and re installed the wheels making sure the route I had picked out was free of anything that might make my suspension cycle 80% or more. As the 295's don't clear the UCA at full droop. Anyhow I ran the truck up to 70mph and no shake..... I returned to the office reinstalled the spacers and wheels. By the grace of God I reinstalled the wheels and spacers in the perfect position. By this I mean the position with which the wheel and the spacer love each other and no shake occurs. I ran 86 mph all the way home (156 miles) with no ill wobbly effects. So I won't be needing new wheels thank the Lord. I do need to mark the wheel and spacer setup so it can be repeated.
