Just installed tundra/ome lift...needing input about a few issues.

Hi, I am relatively new on here, but I have been reading these forums for a long time. I bought the #7 ss kit from steve and just had it installed....yes, I committed the sin of having the shop put it on, but there were several reasons I was unable to do it myself....anyway, I do a lot of stuff on my 4runner and I care about details(the reason i paid the extra $ for the ss kit). Ok, now to the issues...I have 2:

1. I love the new stance of my 4runner and the way it drives....however, it is deffinately sitting a good 1/2" lower on the divers side in both front and back. I know ome makes those trim packers for that sort of thing, but honestly, In all my reading, not that many people talk about putting those trim packers to use for that sort of thing(leaning to one side). Not sure what I should do about this if anything....I dont know how difficult it is to add trim packers and if you have to take everything apart and end up getting another alignment.....please advise

2. This may relate to the first issue i wrote about, but it may not. I checked everything out of course after picking it up from the shop and everything looked good except the idiots installed the passenger side tundra coil (yellow/blue) on the divers side and vice versa....I even showed them steves printout that clearly said yellow/blue =passenger side and yellow/yellow = drivers side. My question is, what effect might this have on the setup(I need to be able to tell them why they must fix it) and also, does this have anything to do with the drivers side being lower?......

i know thats a lot to read, but I really need some help with this as i would like to get it all figgured out before the weekend. thanks in advance for any help at all....

Take it back and make them fix it. They are designated a side for a reason.

Yes, I know there is a reason, but what reason?? I would just like to be able to tell the guy why its important(I'm going to make sure he fixes it, I just dont want him to feel like i'm trying to be a pain...)

Also, I should have also said, there was a slight lean to the drivers side before, but it does seem worse, after the lift. I would still like any input on the coils and their lengths as well as the purpose behind those ome trim packers. thanks to everyone though. I really appreciate the fast responses...

The two coils are wound to a different weight, specific to each side. Take them back that is your problem.

i would think the drivers side springs would be heavier due to the gas tank on that side and most of the time we drive alone, to work and what not. pass seat in my rig is mostly empty all the time unless my girl or dog is with

Have that place fix it as soon as possible. The longer you wait the harder it will be to get them to do it. The drivers side spring is definately a heavier like he said above due to the gas tank and the driver. Show them the paper and have them fix it. It shouldn't be hard for them because the shocks should be the same, therefore they don't even have to dissasemble the shock/spring assemblies. All they have to do is take them off and put them in the spring compressor and realign the three studs to fit on the opposite side. Most shops have a spring compressor mounted on the wall that will compress those in a matter of seconds.
