This is what seafarinman has listed in his description
Black~ground Brown/orange~low speed +12V Blue~high speed +12V Mine had a black, brown with yellow and a solid brown wire. Not sure what the difference between colors means but it was pretty easy for me to figure out which one was the high speed by using my battery, it tried to take flight. Did you find his write up for this mod? He has everything listed under there. Good find on the fan too. I got mine from a local yard for $15.

Cool that you got a good deal on your Taurus Fan. The reason that there might be different colors on the wire harness is because there were probably different manufacturers that made the fans since the car companies rarely make stuff that could be sourced from companies that make them already. Anyhow, good luck on your install.
