Just got my runner smogged
...And the guy told me my car is going to get them in trouble. The CARB will ask "How can a car with 160,000 miles on it run this clean?"
Then he went on to say "Someone must take good care of this car."
It actually measured 0,0 PPM for HC 0.02 and 0.00 for CO and 0,10 for NO. Thats well below average on HC and NO and below average on CO.
My 4runner is a California car and a LEV. It has a factory shorty-header, and an extra cat-converter at the bottom of the header.
I put in the correct NGK plugs and changed the oil 1500 miles ago. The O2 sensor is stock, never replaced as far as I know.
On other interesting thing is that the test weight of my vehicle was 3875 lbs. This sounds heavy, but I just put in a full tank of gas. It also might be 150lbs of smog technician.
