just an FYI Toytec lift with aftermarket wheels/285 75 16s
Well I have had my lift on for about a week and finally got my alignment and picked up my wheels today. I got 285 75 16 Terra grapplers with Procomp 1079s-16x8 4 inch bs. I will post pics tomorrow when I finish grinding and trimming I went with the 3 inch ome lift kit from toytec but left out the front topout spacer so its about 2.5 inches in the front and 3 in the back. I think cujeepers (spelling?) had the same lift without rubbing problems but mine was so bad that I would have torn the tires up just turning the stearing wheel 90 degrees. I had to have the shop remove the wheels and put my old ones back on in the front. It rubs the front bumper badly and the back of the wheel well. After I got back from the shop I started taking off panels to get access to the pinch weld. I grinded that all down and seem to have enough room now- about a 3/4 of an inch when turning at the closest point. I still need to trim the bumper tomorrow. I didnt think there would be that much trimming to do with that wheel tire combo but anyways.... if your getting that combo- get ready to trim. Now if you find a tire that doesnt rub the a arm on stock wheels you will have less of a problem. I dont think I would have rubbed nearly as badly if I had the stock backspaced wheels @ 4.75 and 16x7.
Looks like a 1-2 inch body lift is in my future if I want to do more then cruise to the mall- dreading that install.
Anyways just thought I would let you guys know that may have been planning on a similar lift.

Yeah that sucks.
Body lifts aren't all that bad. I wouldnt daunt it too much.
I'm taking mine off next week, and I'm stoked. My problem is that I have to cut off my sliders.

Finished trimming today, no more rubbing!
I love the way it looks, I will prob do a body lift so I can get some real use out of those tires- prob a 2 inch.

2" Lift
Installed a 2" 4crawler lift about 3 weeks ago- love it and it was the easiest mod I have ever done- true story. If you are considering the lift, 4crawler makes it easy and basically hassle free. Just follow the directions and you are home free. Nice looking rig!!!
