I'm asking about 3rd gen runners and rear springs only. From the posts I've read, it appears that there are at least three different sets of rear springs made by OME for the 3rd gen. Off the top of my head, I know about the 891 and the 906.

How many are there and what kind of lift do they provide?

the 891s give the most lift.

906s only gave me 1.5"

the Downey coils will give you much more though....as will the LC coils

There are OME 906s (made specifically for 4runners/hilux surfs) about 1.5+"
OME 890s (made for Landcruiser/Prado) about 2.5+"
OME 891s (made for Landcruiser/Prado) about 3+"
OME 892s (made for Landcruiser/Prado) about 3.5+"

It's weird but I used to have some sagging springs w/ a 2" spacer. When I measured the height of this setup vs. OME 891's, I got an additional 1 1/2" of lift w/ the 891's. I'm assuming that these would give someone 3 1/2" based on my unscientific example. Anyone confirm?

If those are brand new springs then add about 0.5" to all my numbers.....they should settle over time.

When i first put my lift on, i got 3.75" with the 891's and a trimpacker on each side.

Thanks Jaime. That pretty much answers my question. BTW, I've only had these on for a few hours but I love the way the truck feels w/ these and the SAW's up front.

892's are the tallest. My 891's have sagged a fair bit over time and I now run 891's, Daystar 1.5" spacer, and another 0.5" from the top part of the factory cone for a total lift of about 3.5".

You can also get 3.5" of lift from the FJ80 springs, and they ride much softer. I stuck with the 891's b/c of my towing needs.

In my experience, the 892's didn't provide much actual lift over the 891's (I've run both), but they were much stiffer built for heavier loads (like the heaviest freakin' bumper ever). The 892 wire is much thinker than the 891, but the coil itself is shorter.

Something to consider between the two.

Did you get much sagging from the 891's? I don't tow, don't plan on a heavy rear bumper but do have occassional passengers. I also have a tow hitch and 50 lb speaker box.

Nope. No sagging. The super heavy bumper with a tire carrier and a 35" spare was a little more than it wanted to handle, so I went to 892's. The 891's are in my garage now.

My 891's sagged due to a heavy rear bumper, custom cargobox inside full of tools, and towing a camper that weighs 3600 or so pounds with a 375 pound tongue weight about 2000 miles a year.

My 890s have held up extremely well too so I think unless you give them some serious cycling (ie repeated heavy loads) they will more or less settle within about 0.5" of install height. My 881s up front are about 1-1.25" lower so I should be able to carry about 300-400lbs in the rear and still ride level, which is perfect to me. I always hated the sagging rear look of the stock springs after a few miles of towing....I bought a truck so it should perform like one!

What's the OME part number for the front coil that will give 3.5" of lift?

OME 882s but be careful with putting on that much lift up front (diff drop is a must).
If you are going to carry alot of weight up front you might want to use 881s and a top spacer.

882's would probably yield 3" with no winch or heavy bumper. But at 3" up front you'd be going through cv axles pretty fast.
