Just bought my first....
I really don't have much to post, but I'm 24 and after 2 years of looking have just bought a 98 SR5 V6 with 78 000 km on it for 15 900. I don't have much more to aspire for at this time in my life, and I am so happy with my first purchase. peace to y'all out there who know the joy of owning one of these trucks.

As if I needed encouragement as a hop-up junkey
After spending 3 years modifying and hoping up my mountain bike, (santa cruz heckler)_ I now have the added pleasure of the same addiction for my 4 runner. If I only had another 15 k or so... then my truck would be perfect...right....or would I just need to add more>? I think over the next few years I'll be learning a few tricks in here. I already have a few good ideas to start with, thnx for the posts. I'll get some pics up as soon as I take possession on Wed.

uh well, that's a little tough. I live in Cambridge On, right now, I've been at University on and off for 5 years in North Bay, On, and in between have lived and thrived in the town of Fernie, BC. Eventually to settle on the coast after spending some time in Golden BC. So, Canada at large seemed most appropriate for the moment. I don't really consider any one place home. But Cambridge is truly where I was born and raised, but there aren't any mountains or rivers around here that can hold my attention for to long.
-by the way how do I edit, or modify my user info...?I do have a pic, but it's from the dealer, and it's a poor one which I don't particularly want to submit.

welcome to the board
after about 3 months of research and patience i found a 96'/v6/4x4/146k for $8500. being new to offroading ive had my friend take me out several times to get pointers. now everytime it rains i have these crazy urges to go offroading and get her dirty, but detailing her head to toe (full days work) gets rid of those urges. now if i can only get the money to do the first 10 mods.
