It's cherry.
I just got a new Cherry Bomb at Pep Boy's, and you know how there are no 4-cylinders on the exhaust comparison page? Well, as soon as I get it on, I'll send an mpg to Corey, if he'd like me to.
Personally, I found the page to be very helpful, because I used the videos to show me which brand has what tone, but I knew that the sound would be a little wimpier with my 22RE. So now maybe this will motivate some people with 4-bangers to offer up some goods, and let people more finely tune their choice.
Anybody have pics of a Cherry Bomb installed? Just curious.

Finally someone else goes for the glassback exhaust!
I used to have some pics of mine....
By the way, I paid $52 for everything including installation. So dont let anyone screw you on the install.

The cheapest I've been quoted is $45. That's with all new hangers and hanger bushing rubber things.
I was going to get it done for maybe $10-20, by a nephew of a friend that works at a muffler shop, but the nephew was using a plasma cutter on a flat peice of steel at work, and he didn't know that there was a paint can underneath the metal, and as he cut over the can, the paint exploded, and his coworkers literally had to put him out. He was life-flighted to a burn center at an area hospital, and was released yesterday, with 2nd degree burns all over his hands and upper body. So, I'm thinking I'll just get it done at a shop.
So, how much should it be to have it just replace the stock muffler? No new pipe, just cut and weld.

Awesome! Can't wait to hear it. I have been wanting to do my exhaust but I have a lack of funds...
I was looking at the hooker aerochamber muffler though. My only concern is that I don't want my truck sounding like a pissed off weedwacker.
