Stay away from the Bosch 4's, they are garbage. I've never ran iridiums. I've ran quite a few plugs and the best performing plug I've had in my runner thus far was Champion single platinum. I am running Champion double plats right now and at 5 bucks a pop I am not impressed. In a couple months I will switch back to the singles.

you really don't need iridium plugs(and they're expensive!) on the older engines, some of toyota's new engines like them though.
NGK or denso are the only brands to use for plugs and wires in a toyota, at least with factory ignition. i've heard autolites and delcos are good with MSD ignition though(seems to make sense, not mixing american and japanese electronics)

installed denso iridiums yesterday on my rig. i was skeptical prior in these plugs for the price, but it was time for new plugs and wires. i noticed my motor idles smoother and feel there is an improvement (had splitfire plugs before).
another vote here for denso iridiums..

I think i'm the only person on this thread with Bosch +4's, but dnt buy them. They seemed to play aorund with my idle, and starting the car in the cold, and sometimes when the engine is hot, is a pain in the a**. But at least i didn't pay alot for them, i got them when they were on sale. But overall, i wouldstick to ngk's, or denso plugs; they're chaeaper, and they seem to have the same, or better performance than the Bosch +4's.

I was given a set of bosch +4's for my wifes suburban from the rep. Let me tell you that from research I've done and personal experience bosch plugs are KRAP, worse fuel MPG, eratic idle, misfires, pinging ect! I left them in for 1000k miles just to do it, they got progressively worse! Unless you are needing a colder or hotter range plug (superchargers, turbos ect), stick with what it came with. OE plugs are inexpensive and just work like they are supposed to!

PLUG & WIRE SUPPLIER
For good prices on spark plugs and wires and a few other things for anyone interested try clubplug.net. When I bought my Denso Iridium plugs they were the least expensive of anyone at that time .
