Installing rc engineering injectors...
Hello all,
well im stuck...well sorta...just wanna make sure if im doing things right.
I have the RC 370cc Injectors waiting to go in and the stock injectors taken out....now i heard that you take off botht he o rings on the stock injector and put them on the bottom of the rc injector, then remove rubber gormet on bottom of stock njector and put it on rc injector?
Am i right?
Let me know cause the s/c will be in soon =]
Also how did you guys with supra maf install the maf with stock airbox? what mods did you do to box...just enlarge it?
I am going to be replacing the intake pipe as soon as i go to dyno shop and then add the stock air box back on....

Take that BIG gromment off of the old stock injector and put it in the injector opening in the manifold. The RC injector will sit on top of that large gromment. It will seal when you tighten down the fuel rail.
Take the rubber gromment off of the Supra MAF and slide the end into the airbox. The mounting screw holes are on the wrong side of the MAF so you will need to rotate it around until the screw holes come against the mounting bracket. You will need to drill new holes in the mouting bracket and use 6mm bolts to secure it. The forward most hole will need a stack of washers between the bracket and the MAF.
Once you get it all sorted, take it back off and then run a bead of silicone around the MAF sufficent enough to seal it to the airbox and then reassemble and let it sit over night to cure.

It is running well, thank you.
I am having a serious issue with the clutch. It will not hold the power. I might have to swap in the new one ahead of schedule.

How much power are you makin?!
or is it that the clutch is just old...
Also what do you think about that Tranny Line TIghtner mod that Chris found out? Where you tighten the bolts on the throttle body that goes down to the AT?
I had to do that when i put in the stupid power flower spacer on my truck and i noticed taht it shifted much harder and faster...thought it was my tranny going down the hole =]

the ecu will still trip the check engine light even with the 370cc and supra maf-- it runs too rich at idle, the high end is ok.. so yes, the signal has to be changed.
