Installing aftermarket alarm...

I am about to install an aftermarket alarm system in my 92 4Runner. I would have this professionally installed, but I like doing this kind of thing so I want to do it myself. I think I will be ok if I can just get my hands on a Toyota wiring diagram or something of the sort so I will know which wires to tap into and where. Is there anything out on the internet that would help me? Any suggestions?

Do you want the whole 2nd gen repair manual?

asudan96Runner uploaded a 20 MB Zip file.
It contains several PDF files.
I belive these came off of a CD.

Yes, I have the Zip file as well.
Choose what you need, or get the whole Zipped file.

Corey,

Thanks for the quick reply. I took a look at some of the PDFs. They are very useful indeed. However, I was unable to find wiring diagrams. All I saw was maybe an introduction to the wiring section, and a few pages with various relays. I guess what I need to know is which wires to tap into for the alarm for say, the power locks, the horn, the ignition, etc.

Thanks,

Nevermind, I found it. For anyone needing it, tons of info can be found at http://www.the12volt.com/ (has wiring info for cruise controls, stereo, and alarm).

BTW- Corey, thanks for the link to that manual anyway. That will definately come in handy at some point!

Thanks,
