I am interested in having some work done on my 2001 4Runner valve body as well as work done on the torque converter. I have read numerous posts in this forum and others that recommend Level10 or Import Performance Transmissions for this type of work. I value very highly those recommendations and I plan on using one of these companies to do the work.

I live in the Chicago area, however, and I know that I will not have the time to devote to removing either the valve body or the torque converter to ship off to New Jersey. I also know that it is not an option to drive my truck to New Jersey to have the work done.

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Chicago area to do this kind of work. Alternatively, any members in the Chicago area who do this kind of work on the side to earn some money to spend on further mods?

If no recommendations, what is the best way to find a shop to do this work?
