inner and outer wheel seals!

i need to replace my inner and outer wheel seal on my rig and i normally like to have sort of a template to go off of when doing any of my repairs where as i am new to fixing mechanical issues. I have searched around on here and the web and i am not having much luck...anyone know of a link or a thread on here to help me out... thanks

What was described in the write up above is replacing the inner seals. You only want to mess with the outer seal if it NEEDS replacing but if your rear end is leakin differential fluid, its not a failure of the outer seal, its the inner seal. The outer seal is more of a dust/dirt seal for the sealed bearing. To replace the outer seal you need to remove the bearing. What a Toyota rep at my local dealership told me is if the bearing is fine and you don't need to replace it DONT! You need to extract the bearin and then need a bearing press to install the new one. I know several on here have recommended taking the entire axle to a shop and pay them to remove then install the new bearing. I'm looking to do this very thing on my '98. Starting to get a bit of "dampness" in there when I checked my brakes this past weekend. Midas did a free brake inspection and I got to watch, they recommended the seal being replaced. The total to do the rear seal was close to $350. I think I am going to do this one myself!
