Info needed on wiring fog & driving lights into OEM system
I want to wire aftermarket fog lights that come on when my low beams are on and driving lights that come on w/ my highs. After searching about 10 pages of posts I found a thread I thought might be helpful, but the link is no longer active.

I sent a PM to the thread starter, but I'd like to get on this right away. Can anyone point me to another post or give me a diagram showing what needs to be done? For all I know there could be lots of info on this already posted and I'm just not using the correct search terms. Thanks in advance for any help.

You just hook the remote wire from each fog/driving light to the light that you want it to activate with. What type of lights will you be using? Are you planning on using their wire harness, or your own?

I wired my lights to the fuse box under the hood where the headlight fuses are located...two sets of fuses, 1 low beam set, 1 high beam set....works great, no problems yet been hooked up for the last three years that way and work great....

Off brands. I have a set of 55 watters I want to go on w/ the high beam and a set (unsure of wattage) I plan on mounting behind the grill insert (so they're not too bright) that I want to come on w/ the low beams. I have smoke headlight covers so my current headlights aren't too bright. I'd use my own wiring.

And that works so the aux lights come on when the corresponding headlight beam comes on?

98LimitedCustomized was kind enough to send me the diagram he used to wire his lights, but the wire colors are different on my vehicle. On the left head lamp there's a white wire w/ a green stripe, green w/ white stripe and red w/ blue stripe. On the right there's a white w/ green stripe, red w/ white stripe and a solid blue wire. Anyone know which wires are for high and which are for low beams on an '01 4runner SR5?
*EDIT*
After doing some searching I found that on the left headlamp the white w/ green is for my DRL, green w/ white is for my low beams and red w/ blue is for highs. I'm assuming on the right headlamp the white w/ green would also be for DRL. Anyone know which is which for the other two wires?
