Hi everyone,

I think it's time now to fix the bad rear sagging on my 2nd gen.

So i just wondering who on the forum are from Quebec and where do you buy your's aftermarket parts ??

I'm looking for downey's coil for the rear and maybe spacers for the front.

I don't want to pay a legs and a arm for shipping fees so if you know a good place to buy or to order from(maybe in Canada) i will appreciate.

I had buy a arc welder(220v 60-230amp) last week and i begin to make my own custom safari roof rack.I will post pics when it's will be done.

I don't know of any place in Canada to suggest. But...

There is no place to put spacers on the front of your truck. You have a torsion bar instead of a coil spring. If you want more lift in the front, you can crank the bars a bit to gain some height or install Sway-A-Way or Torsion Bars. I think Downey and All-Pro Off Road make some too. As for the Downey's you can try Mike from Xtreme Off-Road. He's in the Vendors section. Also, OME makes some for your truck, again Mike can help you out there. You can also check out www.truckperformance.com and see what they have there.

I am up here in Quebec too but we are in the minority for sure.
I usually have my parts sent to friends in the States and they forward them across the boarder.
This way you avoid the double-taxation crap we deal with up here.
If you do it, make sure they mark it as a gift, value it less than $60 and always send via US mail NOT UPS!!!
UPS are nasty about extra charges ($40 just for paperwork).

I am in Yukon, and could not find anywhere that could get them for me.
They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about Downey.

I eventually just gave up and settled for OME.

No Downey coils for Quebec. :wtf: .i go on the Downey site and don't see an e-mail address for asking my question directly to the company.

Quebec is a great land for offroading, lot of woods,rivers,mountains and snow why we can't have great off road products here ???

I search also a pics of cornfed 1.5" or daystar 2.5" rear spacers for 2nd gen with specs(dimension,height,ect...) Cause i would try to make my own maybe.

Try north shore offroad out of Vancouver. They carry them, although i don't know if they are expensive or not. I just moved to Ottawa from Vancouver and am surprised at how little there is for offroading out here. I'll have to hook up with some local guys and figure the situation out. good luck with the coils. Let us know what you find and how much cause i need a pair after moving.

You beat me to it, I've dealt with them before and found the service to be very good. Their website is www.nsor.com. I don't know about shipping charges but at least you'd be buying in Canadian dollars, and wouldn't have to worry about customs charges.

I was up in Ottawa last week to watch the Sens. Couldn't stop looking at the Gatineous, thinking there MUST be some great wheeling up there.

Maybe in the spring we'll hook up somewhere around Lingham Lake. Good wheeling there.

All in Canadian dollar of course.
I search information about OME 900 coils and i can't find it.

how much it's will lift ??
spring rate ? heavy duty ,medium.

the price quote number is #em865 .is it because it's OME 865 coils?

I'n not familiar with old man emu products can someone enlighten me ??

These are made by the same guys that make ARB bumpers and lockers. As for how they work, not too sure though there should be some info on this site for sure.

Thanks about the same price I paid for mine 901's. I believe the 900s are mediums, mine are HD and they are 901. Expect about a 1.5"-2" lift in the rear from these coils.

From what I hear, mine haven't arrived in the mail yet though, so I can't confirm. OME is supposed to be top of the line. The Cadillac of suspension parts. Made in Australia by a division of ARB.
