I'm Not Sure If This Would Look Good Or Not?

I have just received my clear tails and I would love to keep them for awhile. My idea is to put either chrome or black Waag tailight guards on my desert dune 4runner. Im not too sure if this would look good or not, lets hear your opinions

Thanks

**It would something like this but instead of the "Altezzas", its the all clear tailights.

I dont like those chrome guards on that runner. They might look better if it had bigger tires on it or if it was lifted.

Too bling bling you think? Should I just leave the tails without the guards?

IMHO

IMHO, stock tails with guards is good, but only when accentuating a front brush guard/bull bar/winch bumper. I personally like the 2000+ tails better than anything I've seen. If you're putting on clear ones to emphasize the tails though I'd say it's overkill. You never know though, may look nice. I think the altezza ones with the guards look like crap personally though -- aside from being overkill it is sort of an oxymoron: racy tail lights with off-road guards. If you did go with guards too I'd say black, or color-keyed! Ultimately it's up to you though.

If you are set on the clears and guards, I would go with a black powder coat guard. It would offset the clear really nice. However, do you have a grille guard or TJM/ARB bumper in front? Taillight guards with no hardware up front look kind of goofy IMHO.
