I'm back...with a tacoma
Well after selling my 4runner to Northfacer581 I bought a WRX. While it was alot of fun, 5months in a car is too long for me. I decided I needed a bigger vehicle and even one that I can go fourwheeling in. I bought my dads 2002 tacoma.
It's a 5spd extended cab. My lift should be in this week and I just ordered shocks today. The sony dvd/cd/radio head unit is ordered. I also just dropped $2k on wheels and tires that will be here in a week or so.
Im really excited about starting a new project. I just hope I can get most of it put on before it gets too cold up here!!

congrats, it's nice being able too look down on someone and not seeing headlights through your backwindow.
although ripping around town in a speedy awd would be nice.

I bought these wheels 17" Helo Maxx8b wheels with 285/70/17 BFG muds. It was pretty much the only tire this place had in the size i needed.

Keep us updated, I'm dying to see some pics!
Get any snow up there? I bet you did cause it snowed pretty good down here in Asheville for a while. Didn't amount to much but the mountain tops are white.

Yeh it started at around 11 last night and we got about an inch in a hour but then it just stopped really accumulating. It snowed all today too but it was too wet or warm to really stick. Still cool to see snow though.
I meant to get a before pic of the truck completly stock but i forgot. I will get a picture of the front lift on only tomorrow.

I finished my lift yesterday now all im waiting on is tires and wheels which were supposed to be here yesterday. The Wheel Connection runs a sloppy business and screwed the shipping up so they are gonna be in a week late.
Im gonna be working on the DVD player and screen tomorrow.
I'll get some pics up soon.
