Illuminated Cup Holders

Well, I finally got around to putting some accessory lighting in the cup holders so I can find where to put the water bottle at night.

www.speedysgarage.net

You can click the Illuminated Cup Holder link on the left menu if you wanna see the details.

love the "BORG" water lol

just read your "how to" link... very well thought out, simple and easy to follow... I love it...
think you can submit that one for our wiki? I predict it will be a very popular mod.

Thanks guys. They're actually not distracting at all. You can barely see them out of the corner of your eye while driving. The key is to use low power LEDs in the 6 - 20 mcd range. None of those super bright deals (1000+ mcd).

I submitted articles in the past and they were rejected for improper format. I don't really have the cycles to re-write it. You can link to it if you like though.

Looks awesome, here's some pics of another 4Runner that did the same mod, they put LED's in the door handles too.

That looks awesome! If my truck was in better shape like yours, I would definitly add some LEDs to my interior.

My pleasure. This mod is CHEAP if you already have the tools. $15 for parts give or take.

Haha, thanks man. I'm anal AS HELL, so things that take most people 15 minutes take me 2 hours. It's a blessing and a curse.
