IFS Diff Swap - Will 97 4runner V6 diff fit in 99 Tacoma 4cyl?
Title says it all.
Are the IFS differentials in the 97 V6 4Runner the same as the 99 Tacoma 4cyl? The Tacoma is manual hubs. The 4runner has ADD but the ADD shaft is removed.
Thanks!

I think the Tacs have different input ie left vs right etc.

yes it will fit. you just put your manual hub tube on the diff where the ADD tube was, n youre good to go. front axles are interchangeable, left & right. just make sure its got the same gearset as your rears before putting it in. and if youre regearing, might as well throw in some sort of locker in there while its open.
