If You Want To Wheel In The Future Check This Out

Ok, there is some hippy web cite that has a poll on it, it askes people if 4x4's should have access to the parks. Pirate4x4 has one of these posts to get some votes up. So I figured I would throw one up here. PLEASE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its in the lower right hand corner.

That is completely biased becuase its a freaking backpacking site.

I personally like to drive until I can't drive than hike the rest.

We should do our own poll and send it to them, it would be the exact same sicaution yet opposite.

<---- Haha that picture is on a National Seashore, I wonder if that counts?

I think what happened is NO was dominating and then the pirate guys turned it around in a like a day or two. Because if you click on current results, it hast been updated fast enough it still says there is like 2000 some odd votes.

Ok this is the deal the pirate guys must have made a major dent because this is their post which only started a couple hours ago.....

Backpacker.com has a poll on the lower right side of their main page. It asks whether or not off-road vehicles should be allowed in national parks. Right now it stands at 88% No, 12% Yes. I feel that the PBB should do something about that As much as I enjoy backpacking I don't want to lose space for responsible off-roading. Thanks all and have a good night

So that is why it has changed so friggin fast, thanks pirate.

I guess their drum circle isnt big enough over there, but if were not careful they could start a music festival. Then were screwed.

Even if it's a backpacker site I didn't see any pros or cons about off road vehicles;all I saw was the poll so I ddin't assume the site was anti-4wd and look at the voting and I don't think 15k "yes" voters just rallied from 4wd board and such. I'm sure there's plenty of hikers that use 4wd to get to their hiking trails so I don't think they all against us off roaders.

When they say "off roaders" I don't think they mean trucks. I think they mean motorcycles, quads and snowmobiles.

Umm I dont think ya understand. Before 7:01 last night we were getting our ass kicked like 90-10. Now after these posts its turned like this. Well Id say that is definetly due to the boards. Theres like 37000 registered users on pirate, and lots here.

Oh ok but maybe they did mean vehciles that don't adhere to trails like stated above including snowmobiles, motorcycles and such. I'd like to think most truck off-roaders respect the land but of course there's plenty of morons ruining it for all of us.
