If you couldn't fix it yourself (and you're in socal)...

Hey folks. Seems I've found myself in the LA area for the forseable future (I probably need to change my profile, if I have one...). What I'm wondering is, when there's something you
can't handle, is there a garage (or a particular stealer) you really trust? This is for my reference, and for a friend with a newly purchased (but used) 4runner (I advised her to get a couple of things done and she promptly asked me where to go).

Feel free to email me directly; ianshoots@netzero.net.

Thanks, hope this was the right spot to post this in.

i'm pretty partial to Longo Toyota in El Monte. Theyre the biggest Toy dealer in the nation and have won awards up the yin yang. Im sure there's Longo horror stories, but compared to the 4 other dealerships ive done biz w/ in LA and Boston, nobody compares to Longo.

I trust my mechanic. He is Russian Immigrant and he knows what he is doing. He's been fixing my Yota for while now, and he doesn't charge too much. Actually, he prices are VERY resinable. He's at 4455 W. Pico Blvd, Los Angeles. PM me if you have any questions.

I second Longo as they're pretty good

I actually either do my own or just have my old honda mechanic do the simple stuff

puertola's performance in san francisco 21st & Geary. Really professional guys. For really intense jobs I'd recommend toyota of palo alto. Simply the best toyota dealership in the bay area. (my dad used to work there too)
