I need to line my ash tray and Metra DIN pocket
I know I've seen this poosted somewhere, but I just can't find it again. Someone posted on here that they lined their ashtray (and possibly DIN pocket) with a rubber mat to keep it from rattling when change is in it, and keep things in place. Can someone please repost the pictures, or link the thread? I need to find some of this stuff. The bottom of my new Metra pocket is as slick as ice, and nothing will stay in it when I take off from a light.
My poor cell phone has done the flight of the wounded bumble bee across my Taco too many times now.

DIN pocket, it's the little storage pocket that gets installed to take up the extra space left when putting in an aftermaket radio. Not really sure what DIN stands for.

DIN is a European spec standardized size for dash openings.
2nd-4th Gen 4Runners have Double DIN radio slots. Depending on the radio, there are various ways to fill this opening up. Most aftermarket radios are single DIN then you add a single DIN pocket or other device to fill the dash.
