I have to ask...
I have read all kinds of things on lift for 99-00 limited and I'm confused.... I'm really going to use my lift off road (Not just for Looks) I need a combination that is going to raise it 2.5-3" and flex better than stock. I'm worried about spacers preloading and decreasing my flex.. I have spacers in now and it doesn't flex worth anything...
What would you recomend?
I need total set up
springs
shocks
diff drop
panhard drop
etc.
What are you using?
Thanks in advance
Chris

1) remove the rear swaybar completely.
2) Get quick discos for the front swaybar (use them!)
3) spacers on stock springs ARE the best flex option
4) make sure to get a diff and panhard drop to keep specs on geometry

i just took my front swaybar off. gets pretty good flex and my shocks are stiff enough that it handles fine. the SAWs in the front are expensive... i probably wouldn't get them if i did it over again. i have the diff drop too. if you want better droop you could get some new upper control arms. just get a spacer lift for the front.
edit: disregard this since you dont have leaf springs:
in the back i have pretty good flex, and it would be a lot better if i had longer shocks. the shackles really help. they dont hurt the ride, good flex. you have to cut or reroute the tailpipe though. and it might be hard to find some that give more than 2.5" lift. but if you combine them with some AALs or something you can get plenty of lift and good flex... but if you just want 2.5" shackles would be good. if you want a little more, you could put a .5" spacer or 1" spacer in.
