Yesterday I tried clearing all remote programming from the brain, that would not even work as intended. I will post details of that if I see any indication that anyone here knows about the RS3000. I really think that the unit is toast.
I need some help

I have a different system (DEI) but here's what I did (I've had to reprogram it about 5 times) :
1. Turn the truck to "On" position (don't start it) 2. Within 15 seconds, push and hold the valet switch until you hear a chirp (if no chirp is heard, ignore the rest of this) 3. Push the first button you want to program. You should hear another "chirp" which means it's programmed. 4. Now take the keys out and test the first button. Did it do what you wanted? If not, repeat #2 but instead of pushing the valet button once, push twice and hold the second time, again until there's a chirp. Repeat #3 to program the remote. -edit- My alarm has 10 "programs" it can run, so it takes a while to figure out which ones to use (I have a 2 button remote). Repeat steps 2, 3, 4 until all your buttons are doing what you want them to do (ie: lock/unlock, autostart, etc...) Again, I have DEI but I figured you might want to just give this a shot. Good luck!
