I bet you dont know

I been here on and off and of course i come running back when I need help. When i turn my wheel all the way to the left or the right and start moving i hear really loud metal ticking, I was wondering how I might go about fixing it or what is causing the problem.

Maybe help us out and tell us what year your driving. Info will only help.

Now, I will bet that your hitting the steering stops. A little grease will fix them right up. Above the upper a arm if I remember correctly. Have a look and you'll find them.

Yep what he said. Just a little grease on your steering stops will fix it.

but wont lithium greese just come off once it rains? i used some water proof greese that i bought to use on my manual hub rebuild and haven't heard from those little buggers since, even in all the rain that we have here in western Washington.

Thanks Joez. I'm guessing the offending post was edited already since my radar didn't catch anything...

We're watching....
