I ask... because you ROCK!!!

Greetings fellow Yota fans!
I have questions, I've been looking through posts and found lots of OLD information. Sometimes things change with time... like ... viagra... nevermind.
Anyway...
2000 Yota V6 3.4 EFI SR5 4X4.
Just over a hundred grand in the mileage.
Looking at upgrading Ignition wires. I'm use to the 1966 GT Mustang... Life was easy... now I have this new fan dangled thang, called COIL OVERS! WTF...
Question is... Can I, if so how, upgrade the plug wires. Was hoping for 7-8.5mm, the cost in the plugs not so much of an issue. however do the coil overs have to replaced, how are they handled.???

Thanks much...

assuming by coil overs your refering to coil-on-plug. quite simply each cylinder has its own igniton coil, in these motors the coil goes directly to the spark plug beneath it. the 5VZ also combined this system with what is called waste-spark ignition in which every time a cylinder fires on TDC compression its twin cylinder fires on TDC exhaust. without getting into the benefits of this system and whatnot its fine to say that you dont need to upgrade your coil wires because your coils are physicaly attached to their respective plugs.
