No, not really, but I will have a blurb in an upcoming issue of "Four Wheeler". How cool is this, I draw a picture, write a little bit and mail it to them. Now they send me $35!, thats a new recovery strap! What is the cheap trick they picked, just wait and see, its nothing amazing though.

Aww, you twisted my arm. When I was working at a nursery (plants and trees) last spring I discovered a wonderful new matterial called pond liner. I got some scraps for free but it is cheap. You can get a hunk and easily cut it to make some really cheap heavy duty floormats or cargo liners. It is black, heavy duty rubber about as thick as cardboard and it sure beats $75 for a cargo liner. You can fold it up and keep it in those little cubbys in the back till you need it, unlike huskeys. It also works great to put on your fender when your working to keep from scratching the paint or on the roof if you have some junk up top.

Tell ya what, I'm gonna keep sending stuff to them. I like free money a lot. I want to win one of thier plates or some decals too. I entered the contest to name the new army surplus army truck (Project G.I. Bowtie) but they have not decided yet. If you think you are two poor to afford a subscription, one cheap trick every 2 years an it would pay for itself.

The letter they sent was really funny too, it read

Hey,
We wanna use your pond liner idea and we will pay ya for it. Fill out this form and we will send your check.

Hey Charles maybe you should submit that!

I found that using binder clips keeps my mats in place. I just clip it on to the edge of my mat and stick one of the handles into the factory hole.

my buddy shares a building with a guy that sprays Line X. The plastic walls of his spray booth is covered in the product. It is easily pealed from the plastic after it drys. This stuff is fire proof. When my buddy drives demolition derby he uses a plastic boat gas tank as a fuel cell and uses cut Line X as a fire blanket to cover it.

i don't exactly remember the costs, but all i had to buy were the pond liner and fasterners. i think with shipping, the fasteners came to $10-15, and the pond liner was maybe $10-20. buying both shouldn't cost more than around $30 at the most, probably less.

my buddy works for a shipping warehouse and some of the pallets he gets in with barrels on them have a layer of plastic between the barrels and the pallet with a 1in lip on it (i guess so if something leaks out its contained) i took one (a clean one) from him and with a little trimming they fit perfect in the back of my 4runner they come in black and milk jug white or covered in some kind of chemical but they are free and they cant reuse them so they throw them out and when i get them dirty i throw them out and lenny gets me a new one
