I am adding a tach to my 89 22re
and i need to know waht wire it is coming off of the coil i need to hook the wire from the tach up to
it isa 89 extra cab pickup

Run your tach wire through the dash and hook it on to the + side of the coil.
Hook up the light wire to the dimmer sw., the ground to any ground wire/ body, the pos. wire to a hot in run source and your set. What tach are you using? Did it come w/ directions and wire scheme? Mine was fairly simple and easy to hook up.

in case you guys were wondering it is the black wire coming off the coil....
got the info from the12volt.com
searched under viechle information for my car and then got it out of the alarm wiring section....
