Hydraulic Floor Jack

I just posted a Hydraulic floor jack (motomaster) and the bloody thing doesn't work. Am I missing something? Anyone else have this problem?

It has enough oil, there's no air in it, the release valve is closed when I try to pump.

WTF!

I would take it back if it's new.

Speaking of floorjacks, I saw a 3 ton hydraulic garage jack at the Harbor Freight Tools store in Everett for only $59. This stinks since I spent like $90 on my comparable jack at G.I. Joes. I did pick up a 2HP 8 gallon air compressor for only $99 at Harbor Freight's store though.

You're probably better off w/ the jack you bought. A friend of mine bought that high quality HF one and it didn't even last a month. A seal went out on it and starting puking oil.
