HVAC Controls

My A/C button on my air controls does not work anymore so the A/C runs all the time. Is the button something I can just pop out and replace or do I have to replace the whole set of controls?

I don't know what your 99 interior looks like, since its different from my 96, but, I know on mine, you can pull the button right on out...its pretty easily done to. If you can do it on yours, you would be able to find one im sure online pretty cheap, I know a lot of guys part out 4runners too, so you can find the part there used as well.

The a/c button is a seperate piece. Once you take apart that part of the dash, you should be able to pull the button out. I had mine out a few years ago trying to change the color of the lighting in the switch.
