Hi, I want to auction off 4x OEM 1998 4Runner Limited rims & tires but I wonder what is the best way of doing it. Shall I list one set (ie: rim+tire) at a time or list all 4 sets as a package?

Which method maximizes my chance of selling them?

Definately sell them as a set (and I agree, the better the pics, the more you'll get for em).

Exactly. Good pics and a good description will get you more than anything else.

I'd list them as "actual shipping charges will be applied" plus a small handling fee too, and make sure you cover your butt. These are going to be heavy and cost a ton to ship...

Thank you guys for all the tips. So I will sell them altogether (as a bundle of 4 rims+tires). I have seen new tires being shipped by UPS; basically no wrapping or packaging at all except an UPS label being taped to the tire surface direct. But when I ship a tire+rim set, I should protect the rim surface with a cardboard but can the rest of the tire (the exposed black surface) be shipped 'as is' without any protection?

I got a set a few years ago from Saleen. The tires were exposed but the rims were covered with round cardboard pieces. The lables were on the cardboard...

If you want to sell rims or even by one i just found this well made new site, http://www.rimslist.com. RimsList is site with a lot of features and is just growing but i think it will be pretty big soon. You guys should check it out
