How much for a transmission?

I'm trying to get a feel for what a used trans may cost me. I'm in the process of finding out if my current transmission in completely shot.

I've got a 1999 4Runner SR5 Sport automatic with O/D and 4x4. Not sure if the locking rear diff matters, but I have that too.

Anyone know what a used transmission (with less than 80k on it) may cost me?

your much better off to contact IPT - import performance transmissions - built bulletproof, done right the first time - lots of guyes use them for stronger trannys for boost, high hp appilcations. Everyone i know who has ever used them only has great things to say. You can crate it yours to them, or buy one on hand if they have it in stock.
