How much should my '85 longbed ext cab weigh? *estimates*

Any idea? I really don't have a clue....and nowhere to weigh it now ...

probably around 3000-3800, for example, my '99 reg cab taco weighs 3300

My '84 Xcab (4wd) weighed 3400 lbs new. You have a little more bed weight but less drivetrain weigh so I'd put yours at 3300-3350. That's empty weight, no cargo, people or fuel. Add ~6lbs/gallon for fuel.

my '79 longbed weighs about 2800lbs

How about a 1986 X-Cab Turbo 5 speed R-150 trans? Power everything what does it weight ? Any Clues? My brother has a 2000 x-cab auto similiar weight? Ive called toyota and they dont know what their own truck weights. LOL Seems strange to me.

Is it 4wd or 2wd? It's going to make a lot of diffence.

GVRW is the total weight rating of the truck, fuel, passengers and cargo. Typically it is 4800lbs for '80's trucks. The empty weight is not listed on the tag (which makes no sense to me) and is usually 3300-3500lbs.

Yeah.... your right. Gross vehicle rated weight?

My 80 truck w/ full tank and my fat boy butt was like 3250ish
Also had all my tools and some trail gear too.
