How much was this option package?

I have an 02 that I bought used last year. I am trying to get a good idea of it's value for trade in purposes on an 04-5. So I found out it has this option package...How much extra was this package when the first person bought it?

SR5 Upgrade Package #2
- Includes sport seats with sport seat material,
4-way adjustable headrests, cloth door trim, leather
steering wheel cover, P265/70R16 16X7JJ Aluminum,
Alloy wheel cap, 13" brakes, 4.100 rear differential

I went to kbb and nada to find the resell and trade value, but I was would like to know this for ammo.

I prefer:
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2002/toy...92/prices.html
as I find them to have more realistic prices than kbb.com. Plus it tells you what each option is worth individually for both trade-in and retail. It doesn't let you pick a "package", but lets you pick each item. Also, it shows you what your mileage adjustment is.

trade

I would try and sell it yourself.Your going to lose about 2 to 3,000 or more trading it to a dealer.By the time they get finished with their mark up you wind up just about giving it to them. The only way I trade is when I have one that has problems and I dont want to deal with tire kickers.

Well, I might do that, but then I have to pay sales tax on the full amount of the vehicle and that could be over $2500! Actcally, I am not for sure if I am going to do it or not. I have a perfect condition 02 with 65K and new tires and service that i might have to do again if I go to a 04-05. I just don't when the best time to sell is before the thing really loses value.

KBB is the most inaccurate out of all of them, it is about 5k off (high at that...) compared to NADA most of the time (higher end stuff of course). edmunds is pretty close though.
just weigh out the tax differnece vs. what you can sell it for. check auto trader for what other owners are listing them at for similiar mileage condition ect.
remmeber though, there are 2 ways to negotiate, either pay less for the new car, or get more for your trade. not both, and it equals the same in the end.
