How much is my runner worth?
Just wanted to get some input so I can get a fair price locally. The stealership will probably offer me 2 grand or something but I have more than that in receipts. It's a 1991 2wd AT 4dr red in southern california curently it has 206,000 miles
It has:
the ISR mod
Modded air box and K&N drop in
flowmaster 2.25 cat back
a taurus fan waiting to go in
billstein shocks all the way around
pioneer premeir cd player and infinity front speakers
heads rebuilt and new gasket at 178,00
new used transmission and tranny cooler at 204,000
I would like to sell it to get a 3rd gen. I want to have something a little safer for my new baby which should be here any day now.

Don't trade it in you will lose too much, your better off selling it yourself.

just traded my '91 Runner in for a '98 4Runner. It was a 1991 SR5 4WD with 215,000 miles, power windows/locks, 31's, sunroof, spare on back, etc... I got $2500 from the stealership, but that was with a few mechanical probs. I wouldn't take less than $3000 from the dealer if it's in good shape. I definitely agree with selling privately, but I didn't feel right selling it with the problems it had.
Good Luck, oh and if you DO get a 3rd gen, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!
