How heavy is the 3.4L V-6 engine and trans?

Hi guys,

Just curious how heavy the 3.4 V-6 engine is along with the transmission. Curious because I'm probably going to end up buying an engine hoist to get mine out of there. Harbor Freight has 'em on sale. Should I get the 1-ton or the 2-ton? The 2-ton isn't much more - I think it's $170 vs. $130 for the 1-ton.

I'd get a 10 ton Harbor Freight. It might hold 1 real ton then.

beside it being made in china, the only bad thing if have found from reviews of that winch, its slow. other wise most people are happy with it.

i have the one that mounts in the back of your truck or whatever and it's been god to me so far lol, it's for like 500#-1000#

and it supports every bit of 1000#'s lmao
