How do I know my wheel bearings need replacing ?

I have a 183 000km on the runner .How will I know if the bearings need replacing ?

There's a number of different things you can do to determine this. A quick easy check , is to jack up the wheel that's suspect, and shake the tire and wheel. You can usually get a loose, rattle type feeling out of it. I dont know how else to descibe it but you'll know what I'm talking about if you feel it. Also, If you have any noise like a bearing squeal, that's another hint. Then again, you can always take it apart.

How much does it cost to replace the bearings ?Is it a easy do it yourself job.

It only takes a few minutes to pop the axles out. But you need a press to easily remove the abs collar and bearing. If you don't have access to a press, you should take it to a shop.
I'm not sure about a price.
